Drug Free Walk

La Villa ISD Kicked off the Drug Free Week with a walk from the elementary school to the high school. The weather didn't looked to promising, it was cloudy and getting dark by the minute, it looked like a storm was about to strike La Villa. Even though, administrators were concerned for the well being of the students, the students of La Villa were determined to accomplish their mission. Together they all pledged to be drug free. and as they walked the street of Mike Chapa they held their heads up high and proud, chanting " We are drug free!" " We are drug free!" The community showed their support by lining the street of La Villa with their presence and waving to the students as they walked by. The city police and fire department from La Villa contributed to this very important event by escorting the students drug free walk from J.B. Munoz Elemenatary to La Villa High School.
