Tejano Singer Margarita speaks at TAKS Rally

Tejano singer Margarita Canela, speaks to the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students at the Jose B. Munoz Elementary TAKS Rally on Monday, April 28. Margarita talked about the importance of education and how education opened doors for her.
Margarita told the students that to put their hand on their heart, close their eyes and imagine where they wanted to be in 10 years. Margarita told the students with education you can be anything you want to be and never give up on their dreams. Margarita sang and autographed pictures for every student that attended the TAKS Rally.
