LVHS Red Ribbon Week

Monday (Wear Red Day) – “Sock it to Drugs Day”. Wear red shirt and also display your craziest sock.   Prize: Movie Passes

Tuesday (Hat Day) – “Hats Off to a Drug Free Life”. Wear your most unique cap/hat.

 Door Contest – All clubs will decorate their classroom door with a drug-free theme. Classes can begin working on doors on Tuesday, October 15, 2009 during club times only.  ANY CLUBS DECORATING THEIR DOORS DURING 1ST TO 8TH PERIODS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Doors must be completely displayed by Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 8:00 am Judging of doors will be done on Wednesday October 21st in the afternoon.

Prize: Pizza Party for club with the winning door

Wednesday (Twin Day) – “Partner Up Against Drugs”

Students will choose a partner to be their twin by using similar clothing, hairstyle, accessories etc…  The twins that most resembles each other will be the winners. Judging will be done on Wednesday in between lunch periods.  Prize: Movie Passes

Thursday (Hawaiian Day) – “Lei Off Drugs”.

Wear a Hawaiian lei or shirt.

 Talent Thursday – Students are invited to display their artistic talents by submitting drawings on poster boards (in any media: pencil, pen, paint), poetry, or essays reflecting a drug free lifestyle. Judging of these projects will be held Thursday afternoon.

Prize: Movie passes for the person dressed most Hawaiian

Friday (Spirit Day) – “Cards Against Drugs”.

The grade level wearing the most red clothing (pants, shirts, socks, shoes, signs, etc…) wins an ice cream float party.

Prize: Ice cream float party
