Muñoz Students Outdo Themselves on History Projects

The astonished mother did not know what to say as she walked through the aisles of the history projects exhibition at J. B. Muñoz.
“They’re incredible,” she finally uttered. “These teachers have done a beautiful job working with our children.”
The proud parent was not the only one impressed. One after another, visitors came and showed their amazement at the creativity and talent displayed by our students. Pre-kinder and kindergarten classes developed family trees that went back at least the third generation. First and second graders researched a foreign country of their choice, and third through fifth graders researched important historical figures and events.
The results were very some impressive and well-done projects.
“We had so much trouble deciding on some of these,” said one of the judges. “Every student who participated learned something that they might not have learned just listening to the teacher or filling out worksheets.”
