José B. Muñoz Elementary staff celebrated our TEA Recognized Campus rating at the staff in-service on August 17.
During the meeting, at which all staff and faculty participated, Shane DeRolf's book The Crayon Box That Talked, was read and practiced. Hence, the colorful theme of the gathering. Then everyone engaged in reading and retelling Sean Covey's The 7 Habits of Happy Kids. In fact, all members memorized the habits and were happy to teach them to the rest of La Villa ISD personnel the following day at the district meeting.
Muñoz Elementary staff members are happy to be recognized, but we will not rest until we become an Exemplary school. With our unity and zeal, the sky is the limit.
