WHAT IT MEANS

Secure is called when a threat or hazard is outside the school building. Whether it's due to violence or criminal activity in the immediate neighborhood, Secure uses the school's building as a protection.

WHAT WE'LL DO

Adults and staff are trained to:

• Bring everyone indoors

• Lock the outside doors

• Increase situational awareness

• Account for students and adults

• Do business as usual

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

Look for text and email updates. Because the threat is not in the school, it is unsafe for you to come to the school as it could place you near the external threat. Please do not come to the school during a Secure event.
