Congratulations to our senior students who were selected as finalists and alternate finalists for an incredible scholarship interview opportunity at Texas Woman's University in Denton. During their visit, they had the chance to tour the beautiful campus and experience the university's unique culture. This was an amazing opportunity for them to explore, learn, and grow!


Our United Way Youth Leadership mentors and mentees received free laptops and internet routers with service for two years. This initiative is made possible through the support of Compudopt and the United Way of South Texas, both of whom are committed to empowering our youth with the essential tools they need for academic success and personal growth. A significant meeting took place today as Mr. Muñoz and other Superintendents met with officials from the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Border Patrol, and U.S. Customs. The main focus was addressing the challenges posed by the new immigration laws and the impact of these policies on local communities and schools.

We are thrilled to announce that La Villa ISD, in partnership with the University of Rio Grande Valley, will be hosting the first annual Community Day for La Villa ISD students, staff, and community members. This special event will offer a unique college basketball game day experience!
